Microlights was delighted to partner with Khaadi, the renowned Asian women's clothing brand celebrated for its vibrant traditional attire, on their Dubai Mall flagship. Our mission was to create a lighting scheme that not only complements Khaadi’s richly textured fabrics but also meets the brand’s precise visual merchandising standards, including vertical lux levels and high colour fidelity. Khaadi’s strong retail identity, rooted in handwoven craftsmanship and visual elegance, required a lighting solution that enhances both quality and authenticity.

Our team supplied a tailored LED lighting package featuring our patented Eddi track lights, adjustable downlights, and focused spotlights, all offering a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI). This high-CRI lighting was critical to highlighting intricate textures and genuine colours of Khaadi’s garments. Through meticulous aiming and focusing, we ensured every fabric panel, shelf display, and mannequin was precisely illuminated, creating dynamic retail focal points that elevate the shopping experience.

The result is a beautifully unified store environment that reflects Khaadi's blend of tradition and contemporary style. The carefully tuned lighting meets brand light level requirements and enhances shopper engagement with the merchandise.
